Suspension problems...Help!

I have a 2000 lighting and I lowered it 1" in the front and 2" in the rear using the Ground Force lowering kit. Well I have had it aligned 2 times and I still have considerable tire wear on the inside of my tires. I have talked to a few more Lightning owners in my area and they are experiencing the same thing. Do any of you know if this can be corrected or is there a lowering kit that has spindals for the fron instead of just springs. By the way the 2 different places that did the alignment said it was impossible to set the camber to 0........Let me know if I am the only one......Thanks RICK

Did you install Cam Bolts on the front end? These will allow the additional movement necessary when aligning the front end.

did you go to a place with a regular alignment machine...... i would try belle tire or someplace like that and get that $10,000 machine with the Laser alignment absoultly perfect everytime.

You might also want to consider getting new lower control arm washers if you did not already, I have heard that shifting of the bolt can throw out an alignment.

The lower control arm star washers won't affect the alignment enough to be a problem. But, if the cam bolts/washers aren't installed, they won't be able to do the alignment to the stock specs.
