Off Topic- Some Rice growning on me!
At a car show this weekend when a local guy had his yellow Honda S-2000 in it. Has everything customized and is looking phat. Has to use a little NOS to keep up with the L's though. It doesnt look like the typical "ricer" it has some class. This is starting to grow on me....LOL.
Judge for yourself.

I think they are nicest when left stock-looking. At about the same price as the L, they are a great performance value in a convertible - especially if you are over 5'10". They do make power like a Honda: you have to value finesse over brute power. They are basically a Miata++.
If you go to www.s2ki.com and do a search on the archives, there is an in-car video of one with a supercharger on the autobahn winding out to 170+mph. It gets a bit noisy in the cabin at those velocities.

What Snoopy said....
The output from these motors is more than any normally aspirated factory engine in the world.
240HP from 2.0L = 120 HP/liter
A 5.0 Mustang would have to produce 600 HP to be comparable. Not that it can't be done, but not likely without LOTS of assist.

I love that car!!!! But please remove that wing. I drove one of those, they are really fun, perfect weight distribution. Not much low end grunt, but it pulls really strong above 6000 RPM. The engine breathes like a marathon runner on steroids
jkbrand,
Beg to differ on...
Perhaps more than any other normally aspirated factory automotive engine in the world but certainly not compared to today's sportbikes. You've got 1000cc bikes (the equivalent of a 1.0L motor) putting out 150-160 hp and Yamaha touts its new YZF-R6 to have a specific output of upwards of 200 HP/liter (which would equate to approximately 120 hp from its 600cc motor). And both of these can be had for less than $10 large...I know which one I'd rather have.

Yes, I agree removing the wing would improve that car's appeal tremendously. That yellow color makes quite a statement too, I hope he stays away from animal safari parks or something like this might happen to him: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/zerothread?id=383717
