mods and g-tech times?

I'd like to have your guys input on this> the best time I can get is 13.67 @105 Ive heard stock trucks that will do that, my truck feels super strong but I just can't seem to do better. here's my mod's:
chip, electric fan and cobra pump, boost bypass, K&N filter in modded airbox and factory tech accumulator. I have toyo proxis(800 mi on em)and can seem to launch OK with very little spin. does anyone have any suggestions. tested this week @1000 ft and 66 degrees Thanks, Scott

13.6 @105 IS NOT BAD AT ALL for a 1999, considering stock was @14.6 @97MPH give or take a couple of tenths and MPH. Think about it, "YOU SHAVED OFF A FULL SECOND OVER STOCK" with just a chip-n-filter, verdict’s still out on the fan + pump Mod for me, but I know it does add "a little" HP.

I know "THAT SOME" 99's have shown quicker ET's but considering you knocked of a full second with Minimum Mod's, I'd say you should be proud of those times. Congradulations and SMILE YOU DID GOOD

i have heard rumors of some g-tech's reading off... however I have taken mine to the track tons of times and it reads dead on for time but speed always reads higher than the track slip (g-tech reads speeds differently than the track clocks does). I have also heard that even the meters that 'read high' are very consistent, meaning if it reads .5 high it always reads .5 high..... I don't know how true those rumors are, maybe someone here can pick up on that.

Anyway I would take the truck to the track and see how your meter does against the clocks. You will also get a much better idea on how to launch the truck best, being able to see your 60' times on the track slip.

I don't quite agree with the idea that 13.67 is great for your mods (my 02 has pulled down better times bone stock). Not saying its slow by any means, for a 5000lb truck that is still hauling ***! You would be surprised at how just a little tire spin will kill your ET's, which is where i think your times might be hurting. You should play some more and find that sweet spot where you ROLL on the gas hard but not hard enough to break the tires loose, I think you will find some of your "missing" ET then.

Just my .02

Good luck on the times,
Johnie
