I hate to see the truck go, but today I closed the deal to sell the truck. The truck will be gone by Monday which gives me a few more days to enjoy it for one last time...

you think it's bad now, just wait until oil prices start skyrocketing again.

it's going to happen... hits us harder than most for obvious reasons

 

I don't know what I'am going to do in 26 days when the 6 month lease is up on mine. I get settamental just thinking about it.

 

The truck will be replaced by either a Mercury Marauder or a 03 Cobra...

Cobra is a decision that a lot of us are contemplating ....
But I hate to see the truck go ... It is Sooooooo much
fun to beat all those cars at the SCCA ... LOL'

I want a cobra too! but I would have to have both the L and cobra for it to feel right. I just love the L way to much!

I traded my 02 L in on a Marauder... Having owned both a 99 and 02 L, it was just time for a change.

I miss the stump pullin' torque of the L, but the Marauder is a stylin' ride. If you want to go faster than a 14.5 second quarter stock, go for the Cobra. Having ridden in a cobra, there's no comparison to the Marauder at all, but really wanted a full size car, so the choice was easy...

I put 4.10's and a chip in my Marauder and it turns 14.6-14.7's...

But it's also a ton more practical than my L was, passenger wise (I just had a set of twin girls born, so practical is important to me)

Nice car! I've also looked at the marauder wife would have a fit if i got an L how ever she hasn't complained about the marauder idea.
