Thumbs up The Lightning Tows!

I have been curious to see how well my lightnings tows and last night I found out. We pulled my buddys 10 second mustang to cecil county dragway with a pretty heavy trailer and it towed awsome. I had to use a 8 inch drop reciever and flip it upside down but the truck hauled *** on the highway stopped good no swaying etc. The front end looked mildly retarted but it did the job. unfortunatly a huge fight/ riot broke out at the track due to cecil county dragways lack of track officals and a group of 16 year old punks that had been drinking all night caused a huge scene. The end result was a huge dent in the door of a guys 67 chevelle that had nothing to do with it. The guys car was parked 3 cars down from my truck. I can only imagine the pain I would have had to enflict on that punk if it was a dent in my door.

I've never towed with my Gen 2, but if my STOCK Gen 1 can tow my Gen 2 around with no problems at all, I'd think it would be a piece of cake for a Gen 2 to tow a Mustang.

Lightning Tuner-

That is the coolest pic. I've never seen a Lightning in tow esp. by another Lightning.

Heck, I was using mine to pull out small tree stumps yesterday. I knew I should have snapped a pic. Just hooked the tow rope up to the trailer hitch and pulled them right out.

I did it with my 4x4 F-150 before the L. I was just praying the rope didn't slip off the stump and into the tailgate and dent it!!!! I have 1 or 2 more to pull, I will snap a pic then.

Hey lightning tuner... I'm kinda jealous of your dual gas tank gen 1. Does it hold more as compared to the gen 2 or is it just two small gas tanks. I will have to perform the "dual gas tank mod"
