ABS Fuse/Relay which one

My L didn't come with an owners manual. Can someone tell me wich fuse, if any, is the one for the ABS? Also how many amps is it?

My light came on and already took out the fronts and cleaned them. Also disconnected the battery for about 30 mins to see if the computer will reset but still came on.
thanks

I have a feeling that the reason your light is on is from the rear wheel speed sensor... its very common. you can ohm it ouy and see if it is reading open if you can get to an autozone and have them install their scan tool on the truck you will get a c1230 or c1237 code the sensor is roughly 20 bucks from for and easy to install. You might want to install some di-electric grease (also available from ford) in the connector to make a good connection and keep water out.

Thanks, I just went out at looked at the fuses and looked fine. I don't have a manual. I guess I could go get one of those Haynes manuals a the parts store. I wish I could get the service manual but too much $$$$

Where is the speed sensor located?

Your truck has a 3 sensor 4 wheel abs system... the Sensor I am refering to is located in the rear diff on the drivers side top. Good luck

Well, I borrowed a friends OBD-2 laptop with the scan tool and pulled the codes and it told me none. .

Are you sure you pulled the codes from the ABS module and not just the pcm? That is a common mistake made. Each module has self test features You can pull cotinous dtc's and perform and on-demand self test as well as pid monitor various sensors and readings....

I was only able to find the OBD-2 connector under the dash. I know mustangs have an ABS plug under the hood but I don't know if we have one. I was not able to find one. There is another connector near the fuses that I don't know what it is.

no, the trucks are multiplexed. The OBD2 port under the dash is where you connect the scan tool. You just have to access the ABS module from the scan tool menu.

Thanks for all your expert answers. I changed the sensor in the rear and the light is off. I have not tested the ABS yet but I will the next time it rains.
