Who's the oil field trash travling through Houston in a 2001 Silver Lightning? Alaska Tag no. 5318 EE

 

I don't think that it is anyone on this board. There are only a few of us on the board from AK. WHy do you say "oil field trash?"

 

What else is there in Alaska, or Houston for that matter. Just a term, from us old schooler's. This guy really looked to young to be involved with anything oil, other than geoglist maybe. A real long drive for him, and would have been nice to have stopped him for a visit.

Was it a black 01 Lightning you seen maybe it was covered in oil?

I stood out in a field one time, but it wasn't me either. And besides, I have Texas plates so it really wasn't me.

Well who ever he was just missed a good chance to run with the Best Darn Lightning Club In America, and have some good old Texas Hospitality laid at his feet.

 

That guy had to be trash to pass up an opportunity like that.

 

Just for your info so you can help Alaska develope and get off the Federal Pork Barrel. The oil fields are nothing like those in the lower 48. The rigs are few and well away from each other with modern technology able to side drill and get much more out of a well. All the BS about ruining the Arctic Wildlife refuge is just Greenie propaganda. The development area for that area would cover the size of a golf course in an area the size of South Carolina. It is in a ugly, inhospitable corner of the refuge bordering the arctic ocean that only the rich can get to anyway.
Next time you see pictures of mountain ranges and wildlife that is supposed to be where they want to drill, it is wrong. The Brooks range is hundreds of miles to the south.
