Ford Fixed CUshion

My Advice to all Lightning Owners who have the Seat Cushion Problems: Take it back to the dealer and have them fix it, if its still under warranty. The Ford Dealer where i bought mine fixed it no problem. Thats after I explained the Service Manager the difference between Wear & Tear, and QUALITY issues. Cushion looks great now. Thanks to everyone for all the helpful info.

I've read where some guys are installing a cut hose over the railing which will help prevent this from happening again... did you do this???

it seems like they put more foam on the metal thats causing the rubbing, or penetrating the original cushion. Anyways, Dealer did it at no cost what so ever and it feels a lot better.

Got mine fixed a couple years ago under warranty.

I was worried about some knuckle-dragger driving my truck to the upholstery shop that sub-contracts to the Dealer. So, the service writer wrote up a Dealer Repair Order, and I took the truck to the upholstery shop myself with Repair Order in hand.

Got both seats fixed up under the Repair Order even though the passenger seat was not damaged.
