hey Rob: Mind sharing the polishing trick? I have black and noticed that one pic of your bed rail removed. That shiznit looked like chrome it was so reflective. Drop me an e-mail if you dont feel like posting it all. Pennywise_@hotmail.com Thanks man, and hey are you going to use glass on the bed rails instead of the SS ones?

All you do to wet sand is take the 2000 grit sand paper and let it soak in water with a teaspoon of car wash soap for 20 mins. Then you take the painted pieces and keep them wet or you will be doing more harm then good i used a sponge. Then you sand them using the wet 2000 grit paper. The clear coat will haze up after you do that. Then you just use the wax and buffer and buff it out until it looks like a mirror and is smooth as a babies @$$. Thanks again to Mr. Rob G for the wet sanding tips .

I didnt know that it was the Fords @ E-town thought it was another JDM Day like Jim had. Cool i was there last year i will be there this year to .

yeah, thats why my sig pic changes every week or two. as soon as my hood gets painted, its gonna change again.

so whats getting smoothed and painted next? did you ever get the smooth side steps done?

I sent the check twice and twice they didnt get it. Im taking that as a sign not to get them from there. But thats ok i got something planned that i was actully going to start this weekend with them. So its funny that you asked .

Intercooler reservoir, radiator shroud etc. Vin is gonna be wiining shows by the truck load. And a pair of these will find their way on his truck shortly as well

Fan shroud is already panited, so is battery cover, fuse box, and that piece of plastic thats like half a U thats to the right of the battery. Those will be repainted since i never wet sanded them and that is the key to making it look good.

Here's an old pic from the JDM meet as you can see the washer fluid tank isnt done yet.
