I just got my Clarion sub and the color looks more tan inside. When I set it in the truck it's a couple of shades from the grey interior. Anyone else noticed this or did they send me the wrong one.

I've compared the part number and it has the light grey part number on it. I'm thinking I may have to paint it before I install it.

How has everyone else liked them so far? Should I just send it back?

 

Mine is great. Color matches and sounds awesome to boot!

Just got mine in today finally..and it doesn't match at all. It looks almost brown-ish in color!

 

Look on the back of the last page of your paper work. Same thing happened to me. It will say "tan" after the clarion part #. And this is after I told the girl to make sure to ship me a gray one!They did correct it , though. I had a gut feeling it was going to be screwed up.

 

Mine turned out to be the right color gray. The only problem is it doesn't work. Looks like one of the yellow constant power wires in the harness isn't hot, may be a bad harness. One more test tomorrow before Crutchfield has to send a new one.---Jim

 

Have had mine almost a year now and the color does match it also sounds good for what it is?

 

Mine says it is gray..it is even stamped with the proper code on the box itself..but it sure doesnt look gray to me and it definitely does not match.

 

Mine is a darker shade of grey than the dash; but not too much off. It's close enough for me.

that doesn't look grey to me. Looks like quality control isn't too good.

 

How much? Where from? Is the sound good?

Mine is a few shades of gray darker than the interior, but it still looks nice. It seems to match pretty good, especially on the dark gray carpet.

 

Does it look like mine above..or more like it does on crutchfields web site?
