I'm pretty sure Ruslow sells them. Check out his forum here....

I think I heard somebody say that his slotted rotors are the same price as OEM, but don't take my word for it.

I would recomend Brembo kit, the brakes on these trucks will not take a lot of abuse.

I looked for my wifes car and found http://www.vwvortex.com I didn't do much searching but a little that I found was that the vr6 already has 'high' flowing intake. A chip will get about 220HP and they(tuners) do make a supercharger for it. Looks very OEM, built with intake manifold. Forgot the numbers with it. Made by somebody like ARP tunerz; ~$3k. But start there.

Crack 'em every 12,000 miles and they get you new ones free

Cracked like this?

or like this?

It's obvious that the top rotor would need replacing. The 2nd photo doesn't need replacing. After about a week of normal street driving, the surface checking will disappear.

Two consecutive track days. I ran my cool down lap faster than normal on my last session of the second day, pulled of the track and checked tire pressures. Shortly after that, it cracked. It was a cool Monterey afternoon and my guess is that the sudden change in temp caused it.

Those are mine. The BIG thing to remember when you are driving aggressively in open tracks or hard,is you have to do a cool down where you are using the brakes a min. so they have time to gradually cool down.Aslo need to make sure your wheel studs are torqued down correctly.Stan
PS I have cracked them too.
