Hey Guys I have a 99 Lightning and I'm looking into getting an Intake, I was just wondering what you guys think is the best????

 

Any intake from the tuners is good.....I hear nothing but good things from the Johnny Lightning intake.

 

I know a number of people who use the JDM intakes and love it. Any tuner can sent you up with a good, quaility product. All you have to do is pick the one you think has the coolest logo, website, stickers, clothing, etc. Good luck and enjoy!

That's a good question, and I disagree with what some people think. I think that Johny L makes the best one, for two reasons.

1. It is one of the lesser expensive... for what you get

2. It comes with a partial box to prevent air wash.

I know that other tuners have the partial box too, but you have to buy the whole "cold air induction" kit that runs a line to your air box... which is ultimately better, but I thout we were just talking air filter kits.

But I do agree all make good parts and you'll be happy with any, but I like to think that I'm keeping hot air and fan wash away from my filter.
