Greg,, that sounds like my good friend Mike, he doesn't complain though,, although student loans are expensive,, he works for Weller transmission and gets descent raises every time he gets a new certification. I'll have to say though, I've got a lot of respect for him as he is more then enough brains to be an ME,,, but the guys loves being a mechainic,, and a professer over at Ferris State convinced him how much he loved to work on trannies for the big rigs. More power to you Factory Tech, I hope you enjoy your work,,, even if you dont like the job.

I'm a computer geek, love'm, I'm just lucky it pays well. Though I seem to have missed my "internet stock option millions" by about 6 months, so I can't retire yet.

My key to sucuess (yes, spelling isn't one of them): I don't have a mortgage (no house), I don't have a wife, and I don't have kids.

I imagine that if any of the above changes, my spending would be dramatically effected. lol.

I'm also young (27), so while I am saving, I havn't been able to save that long yet.

Daniel

PS -- BRUCE! That car is HUGE man! Jeez!

Its all about financial planning. I was a cop, got hurt , then medically retired. I had to fall back onto computers. It pays decent and i do something i enjoy again.

However, having a girlfriend who is an attorney, tells you " You should go racing this weekend, youre grumpy " and supports your mod fever AND buys you mods, helps

YOUR GF BUYS YOU MODS!!!!

Mine told me straight up that she *hates* my L and my GTO.

Buy the way, I am by far not rich, but people always say that I am cause I have an L. Living on my own, not married, and no kids helps alot. My GTO doesnt run and the next car I plan on buying will be from an auto auction and hopefully I will pay less than $200 for it, I need a daily driver.

If I was truly rich, I would probably be looking for an Escalade with chrome 22's.

There are SOOOOOOO many people who look at the wraper and then make a statement about it's contents. When in reality they have no clue as what's really inside. Or what work went into making it.

My name is Rich and I'm a Lightning owner.

Rich is a state of mind.
I've got shoes on my feet and I've eaten today.

(However, I am completely nude. Anyone got any pants?)

Sometimes it helps to have 2 good incomes (Ford & Dr's office) & to get deals (A-plan on all our vehicles).

Like Flying **** said, it's all about financial planning. My husband enjoys & hates the fact that I'm an accountant. All mod must be approved before they are purchased, otherwise we wouldn't be able to afford anything.

BTW, the Gator was cheaper to lease than a Sport-Trac or to buy a conversion van (all on A-plan). I got alot of "shifty accountant" jokes when I pulled into work w/it.

Unhappy

OK, I guess I was expecting too much asking for pants from this crowd.

How about two shop rags and some string?
