Engine Light???

I just installed a Fast Air intake and high flow filter, and i went to turn on my AC and my engine about stalled, which then triggered my engine light to come on. What i am asking is this normal for the engine light to come on after installing a high flow filter. If it is not normal what do u think triggered this to happen.

Yeah check all the wires and make sure they are all connected. Esp. check around the Mass Air Meter. Before I superchared my Cobra I put a Mac cold air kit on it and one of air pump clips slipped off making it so my car would not stay running and my CEL came on.

My g/f put a CAI on her 2001 Eclipse and when she plugged the MAF back in it wasn't connected all the way and the car wouldn't stay running. WHen I came over I unplugged the wire, replugged and now more problem.

I'm betting you have one of these. Don't get too worried I'm sure it's nothing.

THere are 3 lines under the rubber boot that runs from the filter kit to the Throttle Body... Make sure they are all plugged in and make sure the Mass air is plugged all the way in as well
