Saw my 93 L the other day
I was driving all over the place looking for a die cast Lightning.
As I got off the highway I see a Red 93 Lightning, as I look at the back I see duel exhaust exiting each side behind the rear wheels. I say hmmm those look familiar.
We both stop for a traffic light I get him to roll down the window. I ask him does yout truck have Basani Shorty headers, and twin 3 chamber magnaflows, he said ya how did you know. I said I think that is my old truck. We ran each other a for a few lights, and we finally pulled into a parking lot.
I looked the truck over and sure enough it is my old truck. There were a few things that proved it, the exhaust was the big giveaway, the extang cover with a extra bow, and the dura liner with the front lip cut to fit the extang.
The truck does show signs of it's age and over 130,000 miles. The paint is fading, and there is a little rust on the rear bumper. I asked him how it is running and he told me awesome. The engine doesn't burn a drop of oil, runs real strong, and the trans is still strong. I listened to the engine, and it is still as smooth as it ever was.
I guess it shows that I took good care of it while I owned it.
I told the guy about this site and a few others so maybee we will see him here.

Reminds me of the time I saw my old high school girl friend. Her bumpers had gotten a little bigger, droopier, and some rust on the grill. Even thoough I had taken care of her, the high mileage had taken it's toll.

Maybe not bigger, but more than likely droopier!
