Man Black looks so nice clean and shiney. Check out the lens protectors I had on this one.

 

Looks like the headlight ones are actually designed for the APC aftermarket headlights with the "fog light" in them.

Yeah I really wanted clear ones. Anyone know where I can get clear ones for the headlights?
I know where I can get the clear ones for the fogs. With the cost of these things om the 01 I need to protect them somewhat.

 

Wow! looks great! i really like the fog light covers. Now all you need is slotted taillight covers to match the corner lenses. The difference is dramatic. mine's the one in the back with the covers

 

Yeah I put the rear lens pieces on. The ones I used were painted to match. The 99 had the backup lite in the middle . The pieces I used had a surrond of this lite as well. I Still like the look better than the mirrored 01's I think. It had a smooth cowl and the mirror covers painted to match as well. My friend and neighbor is the Local SVT lead painter. He's nice enough to spray stuff for me when he shoots the color at no charge. He was driving a chevy truck when He saw the First Lightning they sold to me. The front bumper cover was scratched while unloading from the transport. He touched it up. I`m driving home on the interstate one afternoon and there is a white Lightning up ahead. First other one I had seen. I keep headin to the house. He turns at each corner before I get there. He slides into his drive. I stop....He says Man I had to have one the moment I saw yours. He has had two white ones....to date.
He bought his wife a Cobra. She was in a Pontiac GTP.
I drug one over to our side.

how does that work? Do ya mean to the 3rd brake light? or the backup lights?

 

Might do a search....it was popular a while back..not hard at all...just jumper the running lites to the brake lites..they still work as running lites...I know for a fact this worked on 99's...not sure about 2000's. Just take the screws out with the tailgate down and you should be able to tell if it can be done. Hard to remember but I think they had an extra socket that wasn't wired at all...looks great.
