what's so special about the "L"?

Everyone knows the L is the baddest p/up on the planet.....most notorious for the power.....but what are some cool facts I can tell envious onlookers about my 'L'? For example, I understand the hood is aluminum for cooling purposes...(don't know if that is true???) Anyway, what is something you know that you would tell someone that not many people know about?

1. Fastest production pickup EVER.

2. 1/4 mile, skidpad and slalom specs are on par with a Boxster S.

3. Only comes with automatic transmission - I heard Ford didn't have a manual that could handle the torque, but that might just be salesman BS.

4. What I tell people - "It performs even better than it looks."

A lot of them are quicker (not faster--in the 1/4 mile) than most Corvettes.

another little known "L" factoid
if the Lightning truck gets struck by real lightning, the truck is fine and the real lightning is severely damaged

these trucks are awesome!!
