a mercury marauder come into work today, pretty nice inside and out, but i was under the impression that they came with a S/Cer, but its just the 03 cobra engine w/o the S/C

 

it is more like the 01 cobra motor, does not have a cast iron block.

 

Sadly, in typical Ford fashion, they played it conservative. The Marauder should have the Lightning engine, Navigator engine or the Cobra package. The two s/c applications could be detuned a little so it wouldnt shine as well as the original two.

Just like I feel the L should have four valve heads and the Cobra should have the current L engine.
