S H E A T ! ! !

Well, the FORD dealer just called ... my brakes
are shot ... Pads and Rotors - all four corners !!!
Cracked rotors and the pads are missing in action.
Now I knonw what that noise was!!!!

They are NOT in stock, so I have no truck until
at least Wednesday of NEXT week....

I knew I should had them looked at last week

Good news is there is only 11,800 miles on it
and it is all under warranty !!!

No dragstrip for me this weekend ...
That means hanging around with
the "boat anchor" as some others
put it so succinctly ... (I love you dear!)

Cliff

i would feel sorry for you, but that's probably about a $1,000.00 brake job, at dealer prices, so you are one lucky bastid, or something

A brake job - under warranty??

So, how did you convince the dealer to replace a consumable part, under warranty? Damn, that's a sweet deal!

My good looks and indomitable (Incapable of being overcome,
subdued, or vanquished; unconquerable) personality I guess.

Plus that 12 Month 12 Thousand Mile bumper to bumper
FORD warranty on our lovely trucks ... No questions asked.

They just said, "We will take care of you!"

The service writer and advisor even know that I race
on occasion, and even ask me how I did. FORD needs
more people like that !!! IMHO

So, you see ALL dealers are not scumbags, anymore than
all of anything is anything. The exceptions make the rule
it seems.

But I AM really gonna miss "Christine" this weekend ...
while all my friends are running at Clay City ...

PS... I already had the rears replaced and turned because
of the "squeal" .... also under warranty ...

They shouldn't squeal at low turning rates is what I was told
as they replaced them last time ... I have 11 K on the baby
Good Luck on yours

To quote my service advisor "This is an SVT Vehicle, and
it is designed to be DRIVEN!"

Two words ... SCCA and 1320's <grin> and maybe those
155 MPH runs across the mountains? And so far, not
one JDM part has failed me other than the chip and the
pulley.

LOL, I bet you can fry the Foci's brakes in a week or so before you return it!!!!! They are itty bitty brakes, easily smoked.
