Man that bites! I live in San Antonio, and I was gonna take the L out of 'hibernation' tomorrow and leave it outdoors, but I think I'll be putting it away before nightfall! Even though I use wheel locks, I still don't feel good leaving it outside overnight. I live in, let's say, not the most savory part of town. Hopefully there were some witnesses around who can help. At least they didn't take the whole truck. Damn this sucks...

That sucks man. If you want to take out some aggression come to Miami....we'll leave the truck in downtown for a few minutes and when the pathetic low-life thieves approach the new wheels (guaranteed to happen) it's time for action!!!

I've always wished I could get back at those bastards after having a 93 LX 5.0, and 87 GT Vert and a 86 Monte SS stolen down here. I almost gave up flying and joined the police force just to beat some criminal ***!!!!

wow. when i saw that pic my heart dropped, and its not even my truck. i've heard of alot of HD guy's rims being stolen, and reading about it is one thing, seeing pics is a whole other thing, i can't imagine (and hope never to) experience that 1st hand. I pray that it never happens, and i wish you the best of luck getting things fixed and catching the SOB's!

Baaaaa$tards! What side of town do you live on? If its any consolation, I had my entire vehicle stolen (79 Tricked out Regal)!!! Rims/Tires, money, audio system, etc. I guess the good thing was that it was found the next day in a grass field on cement blocks and had no damage other than the steering column. However, were talking about the L here, so I do feel you pain brother! These cowards will have to learn not to F with the L! Let us spray, I mean pray

Is this becoming more common? Thefts and breakins?

I thought people have more respect. I guess not.

I can't even take my L out to the bank to deposit my check. (drive in only, now)

In NJ we have a large group of (for lack of a better term) illegals, that come up from south of the border.

I caught one, only by a nice lady saying, "who's red truck is being broken into in the lot?" as she walked into the bank.

I ran out, seeing him with a screwdriver on my ARE lid, grabbed him, smashing his head on the pavement. He didn't speak a word of english (I assume swearing at me in spanish) as he ran away bleeding. A#$hole! That was the second time in a week that something like that happened. Three of us where I work chased off someone trying to get into it in our parking lot.

Whatever happened to "look but DON'T touch"?

Man that sucks big time. Did they also get/break the lower valance lights? Hope they get the punks. By the way, forget the guns or rope, it's much more satisfying to use your bare hands.

I work for a large Ford Dlr in the Phoenix Metro area.My buddy ordered an '02 Harley in shadow gray.Waited patiently for 2 mos.The day it came in the transport co. brought it and another Black H.D. to my Central lot to be prepped & detailed for delivery.
They delivered them after hours and left them sitting IN THE STREET!In a very undesirable neighborhood. The next morning we found them both stripped of their wheels and tires.Minor body damage to both as well. But bad enough for my bud not to want it anymore.
The ironic thing is when the vehicles come from the train yard the second set of keys is in the center console. If the thieves would have looked they could have gotten away with two $36k trucks!
