Question Zaino

I know I can do a search and have done so but I specifically want to ask Black Lightning owners how Zaino worked for them. Did the z5 remove swirl marks? How does the new activator work, does it reduce hazing time? Is Zaino worth the $? How long does it last? Does it help keep it cleaner? Any other feedback is welcome.

I just did it on the bike and the Black Saleen. It did not remove swirl marks at ALL on the bike...but it does have a decent shine and feels smoother than ever.

I have not had the saleen out in decent lighting since...I will let you know.

Z-5 doesn't actually remove the swirl marks, it fills them.
I swear by the product.
The ZFX cuts drying time to almost none.
Make sure to use the Z-6 between each coat.
My L is Black as well, looks more like a mirror.
Twice a year should be fine....more if you leave your L outside or want it to look like a show car finish

That is exactly what I used. 3 coats of Z5 with a Z6 wipedown in between, then 3 coats of Z2 with a Z6 wipedown in between. The ZFX really cut the curing time down, even in the humidity here in FL.
My sig pic is after all the coats, this is it full size.

95saleen: It takes more than one coat of

Z-5 to start reducing swirl marks. One coat won't do it.....did you try at least 4-5 coats? You should see a gradual improvement the more you use it.

Z-2 is used after your happy with the way the paint looks; the z-2 really glosses everything even more.

ZFX is great time saver. Z-2 and Z-5 dries almost instantly (well 10 minutes in average temps). Zaino makes a great product.
