Thumbs up Who has 295/40/20 s on their L? PICS PLEASE!

Im ordering my rims either this week or next monday. Im getting 20x8.5 HP TK9s and have to decide on a tire. I used one of the calculators on another web site and I didnt see much difference between a 295/45 and a 295/40 , If you guys have some pics it would help me out a schit load.

Photo ***** to the rescue.

Keep in mind that these tires are mounted on 9.5" wide rims. I wouldn't put this size tire on a 8.5" wheel.

where did you get 20x9.5 replicas? i would like 01/02 style... maybe even the 03 style... but at this point i will settle for just about anything as long as it is at least 9.5" wide.

So what would be a good width for my size rim? What do they make? like a 290? 285? I want it as wide as possible but I dont want the side walls to look like they are bowing out from the rim.

rob: are those the 40s or 45s?

Tires on my truck are 295/40/20. For an 8.5" wide rim a 275/45/20 would work OK.

I think Rob's truck has Boyd Coddington wheels. I just bought FOOSE Spank's in 20x10.

bret,

Boyd Coddington 20 x 9.5. Lighter than stock 18's to boot
Most replica wheels that I've seen are 20 x 9 and pretty heavy. Just something to consider.

crap....

275 is what I have on my stock 16s...that sux, I wanted some more surface contact than that. especially on a set of 20s... dammit dammit dammit ... so I guess I need to find different wheels now... how much of a difference in width is that anyway? (between the 295 and 275)
