how many pounds

can i carry in the bed. without messing up the truck

I think it is 800 but, Ive had more than that when I was at stock height....

its 800 i just called svt but if i got over will it ***** up teh truck??? i have to go buy a cement table for the back yard and its 800 pounds do u think the L could handle it???

Yes...I had about 1500 pounds of weight when I took my L to Mexico , 3000miles......you'll be fine....

The "rating" has some padding built into it to protect them for a lot of things that "could" happen.

If your close to the 800 lb rating don't worry at all.

I can tell you this, it held 6 girls at around 115-135... so, so I think you'll be safe!

Damn, where's the digi when all the good stuff happens

When I was stock I had 1000 pounds of cement in the back. (not by choice) but it held.

I'm not sure about in the back but I pulled a 25ft boat with my 01. The boat is about 6500 to 7000 pounds. The truck set down in the back some but it did fine. It did get some funny looks when I was running about 20 mph and just stepped on it a little. It spun the tires with the boat. The people looked at the truck funny.
