Thanks for the reply Sal. Below is my current list of mods, what mod should I do next to help increase performance short of internal motor work?

Currently on the street I get zero wheel spin from the Nitto's. I just figured that a lower gear would help me get out of the hole quicker, but I guess maybe not if it just creates wheel spin.

Well, I'd suggest switching to a 4lb pulley, which will be fine on your 00 with the 75 shot. I'd also suggest getting the FASTair, which can be used with your JL filter kit with a minor modification, and a Factory Tech Valve Body would be smart to quicken the shifts with the spray. Of course I'd suggest a chip tuned be us for your combo as well.

Sal, Do you keep the valve bodies in stock?

Also I was wondering if you had ever actually dynoed a Gen 2 with a 75hp NX shot? I am curious as to how much rwhp the 75hp shot really makes.

I have some in stock right now. Yes, I've dynoed plenty of nitrous trucks. The nice thing about the NX kits is that their hp rating is at the wheels, not the motor like all the other brands. With a 75 shot from an NX system, we usually see 70-90hp increase without tuning. In comparison, an 80hp NOS dry system usually dynos about 60hp increase at the wheels.

Sal do you think I would be better off with a 4# pound lower and and the 75hp shot or staying with the 2# lower and going with a 100hp shot?

Also I saw a dyno chart on a L that was running a 75hp NX shot on NLOC and while on the spray his air/fuel dropped .5 while on the spray. I always thought that NX ran there systems on the rich side so I figured the air/fuel ratio would have ran richer while on the spray. I was talking to NX about my nitrous system and they told me to tune my motor to the max and then add the nitrous. This goes against the standard method of pulling a few degrees of timing when running nitrous. What is your thoughts on this?

When we put in our 3.73 gears and Comp. Eng. drag shocks, we dropped three tenths in the 1/8(LSR, which isn't known for it great traction).

The 4Lb lower and 75 shot sound like a great combo for power. But as I have said befor, becareful of long term stress on the rods.
