How much variation in HP & TQ is there among our Lightnings?

I have seen many people in this board with excatly the same mods or very close run many different times. I know a lot sepends on weather, traction, driver etc. But many times the 60 foot is very close. My question is what is the varation in power fom one truck to another? Since these engines are not balanced or blue printed, I think there must be anywhere from 10 to 20 HP & TQ in variations among our trucks.

I need to clarify that originally even in stock trim some engines must be stronger with some with tighter tolerances than others.

I can tell you this....

Beefcakes truck and mine had the same mods & program and I had like 20 more HP and 25 more torque....

There are variations for sure.....

And as far as 60 foots.... Get a LOOSE Convertor.....

Richard, that is a substantial difference. Was that at the rear wheels or at the flywheel?

The 01 and newer stock Lightnings dyno between 335RWHP and 355 RWHP, with the median being around 345 RWHP correct? I guess there could be up to 20 RWHP between one truck and another.

He was not mad about it. We were just comparing stuff based on Best ET #'s. Those results were taken at the rear wheels....
