METCO Traction Bars

I have bad wheel hopping when I lunch @ 1300 RPM's.
Does anyone have a pair of Metco Part# MTL9702 traction bars on the Lithtning. If so, how do you like it? Did nock off at least a 1/10th off your 1/4? These mount above the springs to not interfear with custom exhaust systems.

Thnx!

Clamp the two longer leaf springs together....in the front...A cheap way to deal with axle wind up and get better traction....Invest10-20 bucks and you`ll be amazed at the launch.
I have this and numerous others run this way.

I tried clamping the 2 most forward leafs together last week. I am not too sure if I was able to tell any difference. Next time I will do runs with and without to tell. That is if I do not get traction bars and Nitto's by then

You could try a set of these. They bolt on in about 25 minutes with common hand tools and provide lift and traction.
