Mother's brand metal polish, the stock ones shine up nicely

I used Mother's Alluminum polish. I scrubbed and scrubbed for about and hour. They didn't seem to come out as well as I wanted them to, but a lot better than they had looked.

I removed mine and had them chromed. Total cost was about $80. $60 for the chroming and $20 to have the exhaustr shop take them off and put some turn downs on while the tips were in the shop being plated. Less than a week later the chrome tips were done again.

you know you guys could just go to a local muffler shop.....here in AR all the jacked up chevys have to have chrome tips protruding from behind the tires. there are all kinds of lengths and diameters that anyone with a welder could put on after they cut your stock ones off.
