I got a 3rd brakelite LED style..It has a long wired plug. Does it connect right to the old harness and if so how? I pulled mine and the wire goes thru a white plug like the new one but I can't sem to pull out any more wire. Do I need to get at it thru the inside or is it just hung on something? My CD repair manual doesn't cover this.....Thanks in advance....JR

 

Your going to need to pull that white plug out, then from the inside of the truck take off the dome light and anything else stopping you from being able to get to the harness. Just gently pull the roof lining out so you can reach the harness, and unplug the stock light. Then route the new light through the same hole where the white plug was, and plug in the new light to the harness. Hope this helps,

It's completely plug and play. If you are careful you don't need to remove anything but the old light assembly. 2 screws and a plug.
