I ordered the E-Fan w/ Cobra R water pump. My question is when you remove the water pump and drain the coolant, Do you reuse the old coolant or buy new coolant to replace the old one? If so, How many gallons is it to replace the coolant?

Any tips on how to make the instalation easier would be greatly appreciated.

 

Just replace the old stuff unless your really on a tight budget. Fill it until it comes up to the cold mark on the resevoir. Drive it a few miles and check it hot. Then drive a few days and check it again..........fill as necessary

I just did that install 2 days ago and it took 2 1/2 gals.? I used what i had in the garage zerex? i dont think it really matters??
