I was in a van in central KS and hit a friggin pheasant. That'll get your attention! Put a dent in the A-pillar Sounded like a bomb went off.

 

Pluck the feathers, wipe its ***, and cook it up!!

 

Have also been hit by little sparrows, and robins, It seems like when i go out early in the morning, ( for some high speed runs ) all the little birdies are still somewhat asleep so when ya come by and they try to cross,, WHAMMO!!!

its fast as all get out, but fast would be top speed, quick would be the first one to cross the line in the 1/4.

Just because the whole "fast" vs "quick" thing annoys me, I figured I'd show people the dictionary definition of "fast":

1. characterized by quick motion, operation, or effect

2. moving or able to move rapidly

3. taking a comparatively short time

4. imparting quickness of motion

5. accomplished quickly

synonyms: FAST, RAPID, SWIFT, FLEET, QUICK, SPEEDY

So you see, the definition of the word "fast" IS more suited towards the 1/4 mile, and not top speed.

I had one hit my light bar on my cruiser last year. Shattered about half of the front red and blue covers, broke 3 strobe assemblies inside, and bent the front frame. That was only at 80 too.....they had to replace the entire light bar.

 

dove hunting and at 6 A.M. we turn a long corner and these quail jumped up in front of the truck....feathers flew and we stopped to check the truck and walked back down the road and found three quails in the road...what the hell,we threw them in the back of the truck...about two hours later we run into the game wardens at a road check...of course the quail are out of season...after 15 minutes of explaining and 1 bird getting plucked to check for pellet holes and getting chewed out anyway for taking quail out of season(WTF) we were on our way...road kill JEEZZ
