If you want there is a way to bypass this so that it won't happen to you again! Have an after market keyless entry installed but , when you have it installed tell them not to hook it to the factory keyless entry wires have them hook it up as a five wire system directly to the lock motors themselves this way with the Ign. on the keyless will not be disabled

 

The keyless works all the time. I use it even though I have a remote start. I don't have the air hooked up to the remote so sometimes I leave my L running and lock the door. Yea I have the keypad mod.
