Lightbulb How Much Truth Do I Need To Know??

Let's see if I have this right.

Tuner backgrounds:

Chicken est. owner. (JDM)

Former Ford mechanic. (PSP)

Mushroom grower. (JLP)

Pool contractor. (LFP)

Mechanic. (JJ)

If I got any of it wrong I apologize in advance.

My background starting at age 14:

Janitor, Car Wash Worker, Printer, Surveyor, Paint Maker (mass quantities), Paint Shader, Foreman, Assoc. Degree in Telecommunications Engineering Technology, Computer Tech & Builder, Electronic Tech, MCSE, PC Analyst, Network Analyst.

I can hear the president of the company that I work for proudly saying "We've got the janitor maintaining our network".

Sometimes there is TMI about stupid ***** on these boards. If you guys pull out the naked baby pics of these tuners then I'm running for cover.

What I want to know is:

Will Don get his tire back, or will someone go bye-bye?

Will Speedin Bob ever leave the side of the road?

Will JL hit the 10's?

Will Sal post better pics of his truck?

Will Moonshine get his converter back on?

Will MicLightning find any friends in FL?

The saddest part about all of this, is that all this negativity stems from good. I don't know many other lines of business, or even any other automotive type vendors where you get to interact with the company owners themselves. Not only that, but these Lightning vendors share their personal selves with everyone, treating people more like family, than customers. But because of that personal touch, I think that after a while people start to feel like they have a right to know the behind the scenes, when in reality, it's none of anyones business. People should be fortunate that these companies are willing to extend themselves to their customers beyond normal business. It should be treated as a privledge, not a right.

OK I'll be first.

There are plenty of companies where you deal directly with the owner. Otherwise known as "Mom & Pop" companies. Many people will not deal with any other kind.

I was thrust into business world at age 7 with a push-mower (a rusty one at that) ...........

Thumbs up

Sal,

That's exactly the point I was trying to make. I have bought parts from every tuner mentioned above and every one of them have been Top Quality Products. That's good enough for me. I don't need to know your personal business. Just keep up the good work.

Beef,

How about that discount. I once talked to somebody that talked to somebody else that talked to you. Is that good enough, LOL.

The first TWO times I did the edit it didn't show up at all. The one that did show up was the third time I did the edit and put the "H" on "his" over an hour later.

(I did two edits without it showing up).
