For those with chrome wheels, where did you get them? How much was the core charge? How much for the wheels? How much shipping, did you have to pay shipping both ways? How have they lasted? Any problems? Thanks in advance. I will be ordering some this week, best deal so far $550, $800 core charge, I pay all shipping. Just trying to see if there is a better deal out there.

I have three chrome '02 wheels and one '01. How did that happen? Well, the tow truck driver scratched one wheel winching my Lightning up on the truck and I bought a set of '02 take off wheels from a dealer for $650. I sent the damaged '01 wheel to Santa Anna wheel in CA to be chromed along with 3 '02 wheels. They gave me a fair price of $550+ I shipped the wheels to them($80). I'm really not too happy with the chrome job they did. Total cost $1280. I still have 3 '01 wheels and one '02 wheel with F1's for backup.

 

Discount Tire. They use Factory Reproductions for chrome exchanges. The chrome is of excellent finish and I had them in less than 7 working days. Cost me $1000 with exchange. That's with an employee hookup so YMMV.
