I have found a place that has the 2000 Cobra R heads...will these work on the L or not?? Didn't the R make 385 hp without a blower??

I think putting the 4V heads on requires more then just slapping them on. Give JDM a call, I know they are doing a 4V conversion on HDMLNIUMs(sp?) truck right now and could probably help you out.

Not a bolt on with the blower. Major work involved. Can be done with the proper skills and many $$"dead presidents"$$.

Hey guys,
I'm new here... But I do have some info on the 4V heads. In 5.0 mustang and super fords sept 02(front cover and full story page 74) there is a turbo charged (28 lbs boost) 5.4 with stock, unported heads from the new Navigator. So these heads are good for 1210RWHP, and bolt right up!

It's my understanding that the 4V setup works great under boost, but mainly because of the 2 exhaust ports can get rid of all of the extra pressure so much easier.

Who's 1st?

The new Navigator puts out about 302 HP and about 300 ft/lb's torque with the 5.4 and these new heads (if memory serves me correctly)

The heads fit fine on a 5.4 block. The supercharger to heads do not.
