Better Ride/more firm? HELP!!

Okay, i have a 2002 L that I love!!! I only have one complaint. I find that the rear seems to sort of pogo around over bumps. It almost feels like the shocks are shot (but they only have 3K on them). It does have 2" lowering shackles, but i don't remember if it happened before i installed them. Here is what i want though: I want a firmer ride, without being bouncy. I have a mustang that has the H&R Race springs and bilstein shocks and that is how i want my L to ride. I was thinking of getting a set of QA1's. Will this fix the "pogo" feeling? Someone HELP!!!

QA1's should cure the problem. I think the factory supplied Bilstiens are not the same quality as the aftermarket Bilstiens.

by adding the longer lowering shackles you have changed the way the rear suspension works. It now has a longer pivot for the rear springs. I noticed the same thing you did when I lowerd mine. It is a good thing for drag racing, but not allways the best thing for everyday driving.

A set of QA1's will help by stiffining up the rear suspension getting rid of the pogoing you are feeling.

Thanks for the help. I think i will switch back to the stock shackles until i can get the QA1's and the hotchkis springs.
