hey people,
i've never posted here before but i'm seriously considering getting rid of my 67 Fairlane drag car and getting a lightning. My question is whats up with the 03 model? More HP changes etc. And how does everyone like these trucks. I plan on racing it and modifiying it and figure it would do pretty good. If anyone races one thats in the 12 or 11 sec zone i'd like to chat.

From all the info that's been released so far on the 03, I am pretty sure it's mostly some minor cosmetic changes, and a few functional changes, but no power increase. Do a search, there have been some good links posted recently on it.

 

From what I have heard and from talking to the supercharged engine engineer at ford the only engine difference is going to be a returnless fuel system??? cosmetically brushed alum. door handles like in the harleys and a larger payload.
