Hey BABOLT>>>READ THIS PLEASE!!

I called JDM in regards to the fact that they have stopped selling the BABOLT TB---When asked why they have stopped....The JDM contact i spoke with said..and i quote "I honestly dont know why Jim has stopped selling the BABOLT".....(the person who said this will remain anonymous--i dont want to get anyone in trouble).....Could you please shed a little light on this. Ive grown to trust JDM and am planning on buying a BA throttle body...but i just want to see what JDM's reason is behind this....THANKS!!!

I think JDM looks for ready made stock,,, whereas BABolt is mostly build to order/suit. To the best of my knowledge BABolt does most of this under his own time, not for the money, but for the enjoyment of the craft. Shoot Mike an email through his websight and he'll get back with you I'm sure.

the accufab is better isn't it, and thats why JDM is probably only selling that unit.

I can only give you part of the answer to your question. If you place an order and provide funds I can build throttle bodies for you. On the business side when you provide a check it takes time for it to clear the bank. My bank says 5 business days for out of state checks (business or personal). I will wait that amount of time before I ship product. I believe that the JDM decision was to just carry the Accu-Fab units. Any other reasons I am not party to. Am I still part of the Lightning scene? Yes, but you just have to look to find me. As I tell people when I speak with them, I am not driven by a profit motive. I make items to prove out my ideas and the criteria that I follow is that there has to be a performance improvement and definite eye appeal. Thank you.

Start accepting PayPal and you will not have to wait 5 days to ship product.

BfB,
You may have missed the point. You cannot run a major business transaction through Pay Pal. See if you can purchase you next automobile that way. As I stated sales was not the reason that I do what I do. Letting someone else in on the marketing and having them deal with the plastic cards or Pay Pal was fine with me.
