Wink Info on next gen Lightning...

I am on the Kenne Bell mailing list. On the most recent flyer it says (and I quote)

"Flash! TWIN SCREW CONVERTS: NEW Ford GT40, mercedes, and Mazda. Wait until you see who else is switching from the Roots style to Twin Screw."

Any body wanna bet that the magazine screwed up when it said twin superchargers?! They mean that the next gen L will have this TYPE(twin screw) of blower!! Pay attention to the quote above- two Ford products!!

Just for the "record", the GT40 Concept car, Mercedes, and Madzda already DO run twin screw blowers. However, NONE of those vehicles use Autorotor (Kenne Bell) blowers. The GT-40 uses a prototype Eaton built twin screw (yes, Eaton can build screw blowers) and Mercedes and Mazda use japanese screw blowers made by IHI.

I think what KB is stating is that it may not be their blowers but that they are showing that other companies are more and more using Twin Screw instead of Roots.

I agree. Just found that kind of wierd. Might as well said "Hey, looks whos switching from Roots to my competitors screw blowers".
