I had no problems test driving a 01 lightning just a couple of months ago at a ford dealership in Jacksonville FL, but I think the sales guy really wanted to take a break and have some fun and boy did we. Anyway I've also test drove 3 other lightnings before that two 99's and a 00 no problem there either. Hopefully I'll be joining the lightning forum here in the very near future. I'll be signing my papers on a 03 when they come in! Wish me luck on a test drive on my 03 lightning!

What mods did he have on his Cobra??
Some things that I did not like about the car's appearance was the front: There was no grills to block the sight of the radiator and intercooler heat exchanger. I am sure it is good for air flow but the Pony emblen was stuck out in the air and it looked odd. Also at 6'4" I did not fit very well, and that is one reason it would have been nice to drive to see how the clutch and I got along with that little leg room.

He had 2.80 upper pulley,exhaust,chip and filter and ran this into a strong headwind with hot humid weather! If you are 6'4 you really need to drive it because you may not fit.If you have anymore questions just give me a shout!
