Adding salt to the wound...

My truck rolled 20K miles today, which is kind of a bummer. But to put the extra kick into it - my wife was unloading groceries and knocked her car door into the Lightning's driver's door. I guess that's not bad since it's the first ding ever in the 22 months I've had it....

Good news is, I went up to a new local body shop and the tech buffed it out really well, no charge. He said "Just come back and see us when you really need some work done."

I'm just curious...how did your wife go about telling you she did it? If it had been Neal, I would think he would have the good sense to call me from another country to tell me he loves me and follow that with...oh and by the way. Of course, he wouldn't be unloading groceries...but, you know.

I was standing near the rear of her car waiting for her to hand me some bags from her back seat. I was too far out of reach to do anything, and yelling wouldn't have helped because she lost her balance.

After the body shop tech took the scratch off with a buffer for free, I felt bad about how badly I had beaten her!! j/k! - I gave her the cold shoulder for half the day and she felt horrible about it!! I'll use it as barter with her for something in the future...
