Question

What was the total cost for the Keypad and new doorhandle? Does the keypad come on the new door handle or do you have to order them both? Any info would be great.
Thanks

Its an easy mod that is pretty cheap.

You have to screw the keypadin to the handle but ther is only one screw. It goes in easy.

I use the keypad all the time....

Other than the counter weights there is no cutting or fabrication needed. The harness plugs right in and works.

Two Thumbs up !!!!

Doug
PS the silver parts in the How to are mine.

My front lighted logo gave up a few months ago and I was working on the truck and decided to go back to the stock one...

Still have lighted on the back....

May have to get speed grill or something to jazz up the front now

Vin, isn't yours a 99. If so, you don't have the factory plug in the door. If it is.....it's not a plug and play!!!!! But Iam sure you could wire it up
You making the whiskey tonight, if so , we can discuss it

I had to cut put of the lever on the handle to get mine to fit in my 01. Other than that it was an easy install.

My Bad, you should be all set then. You do have to modify the counter weights on the new handle, but its easy. You just use the old handle as a template.

Its raining here in Linden now and I was in Newark all day, and it poured around 2 or 3. Don't think Iam going to make it

I went and i just missed the storm there. Rt 3 was closed and ther ground was soaked. I was like WTF i live 2 towns over and i didnt get a drop. When i got there i was the only lightning there was there with my friend with the GNX. It was half empty . Penny was there aka My01Bolt. She didnt have her lightning but was there with her husbands harley. It was nice to finally meet her. Stayed for little more then an hour was to hot and decided to get the hell out of there and i saw Daniel(thepawn). I stayed and talked to him for like 15-20 mins but had to get out of there i was dying to hot wheres fall . Well hopefully if its nice next week we can get some more people.
