all I did was ask a question , and BFB I haven't seen the post on your forum I just wanted to know thats all, and yes it does matter to many. I'm not stirring anything just wanted a question answered since we are basically banned from here asking any questions to anyone but a supporting vendor. I guess I was out of line for asking for some truth , sorry

and actually Sal I wanted to know for a reason , but since I get the customer service runaround from you I have taken my business down to Margate

Well, you apparently knew the answer to your question, and if you didn't get the answer from the post on BFBs site, then you were told it by someone else, and it's apparent you made you inquiry to start trouble. I do not buy your innocence. Sorry.

EXACTLY...what does it matter so long as the dealer you get it through offers competitive pricing?

I just do not understand your post, other than what Sal called it out for, Walker.

Most customers who are interested in purchasing a product would want to order directly from the distributor. Their line of thinking would be:

- if there is 1 distributor, then they supply the other dealers therefore they have more in stock then the dealers do
- if it's something that is in high demand or low demand the stocking at the dealer may be low to non-existant or even backordered, therefor taking longer for it get to them because it needs to go from the dist. to the dealer to them, as opposed to purchasing it directly from the source, which is quicker.
- if dealers recieve it from a distributor, then in order for them to make a profit they need to raise the price, so the dist. would be cheaper. (like you said, "competive pricing" then who cares)

I'm not saying there thinking is currect or even logical, but after working in years of retail thats some of things I've learned about customers, that and they are weird! And with dealing with customers they always believe that they are right, and you always believe "This isn't BK, you can't always have it your way"

Captian, my point is that all the Works dealers are supposed to maintain an equal dealership outlook, so Walker would not have known if there was a main dist (other than Works themselves) and therfore he obviously knew when he asked, and was just trying to push buttons.

Groundstrike

According to Jim Bell, The Kenne Bell does have a bypass valve. I spoke to him about ten days ago about a blower. Why would it detonate? Boost is boost. The engine doesn't know what brand of blower is on it, It just sees boost and air temperature from the blower. I have seen the Works blower on the dyno and although it is an impressive unit, I didn't feel that it did much more than our stock blowers with a larger pulley. Not trying to knock anyones product, but I was dissapointed in the numbers and the fact that it has to be removed to change the spark plugs. Sure, it made power but not $3500 worth. The workmanship on the Works was excellent and it looks really great on the truck. Maybe what we need is a four foot by six foot blower in the bed driven off the driveshaft all chromed ,of course.
