The one and only. Jas was at the WFC a few years ago and he let me sit in the truck, started it up, let me get on it...It was better than sex. I still talk to him whenever I can catch him on line. What a great guy.

If I spent $137K with Lingenfelter, and DNF'd, I'd be pissed!

 

I was there. The Sonoma took off from the exit of turn 2 at MIS (where the 1/4 mile was timed), then turned into the infield course at the entrance to turn 3. After a couple turns in the infield the transmission took a powder. It was the fastest vehicle at the C&D tuner shootout, for less then 2 miles. Hardly a daily driver.

 

Back when I was into Mustangs I used to drool over his white convertible. That guy knows the meaning of cool. He's like a modern day Fonzi or something

Lets see Sal runs 10.78 and didnt spend no where near $137k to run that. So when you spend that same amout on the lightning and see what it runs then we will see whos faster. Its like apple to oranges. Same thing when a vette owner or viper owner try and say i just beat a lightning. Hello they have the upper hand always the lightning is always the underdog in a race unless its another truck we are going against. They just get pissed when our pick up truck pisses all over their sports car hehe. Oh yeah and as for Sals truck not looking stock you dont know what you are talking about other then the cage his truck looks stock. I was in it i should know. He only put the cage in so he could run sub 12 second runs without getting booted from the track.

 

No doubt there. He was talking for a while about getting rid of the Lightning and going back to a Pony and he would put it up for sale for a while and then go back to building on it. I just think the truck is the coolest thing in the world. There is a picture of it at my phote gallery.

I did a 12.2 on some michelin atx "farm tires",,, is that anything?????

The truck in the mag was awd and alot lighter than the L. It's size alone is wy it's faster. When the silverado ss comes out next year it will be awd but a modde L will kill it because the ss will be to heavy.
