Question Bassani installation

Ok, I'm right in the middle of installing my exhaust but I have a major problem, I dont have the instructions so I'm kinda lost, anyways, I have the X-pipe and the mufflers on the truck, but when i go to install the rest of the system on hte back htere is no way i can make it line up with the exits on the mufflers, plus I'm not exactly sure how the hanger works. Im pretty sure it bolts to the frame raildirectly above the mufflers, but I'm not sure which direction it goes or anything. I know I'm probably not making much sense, but any advice would be appreciated.

Well the first thing you MUST do is chit can the bassani clamps and buy some heavy duty 2 1/2" clamps. I threw my instructions away, but if you look above where the mufflers hang you will see the factory holes that the hanger goes on, along with the spacers. I'll check back after I get home today, and if you are still having trouble, I'll snap a few photos for you.

Thanks FastGator, I already got some U-bolts so I'm good there, but some pics of the hanger would be great and if you could just give me a general idea of the order you went in when you installed that would help alot, ie. x-pipe then mufflers then exit or however you did it. Thanks alot!

One of the Bassani hangers bolts to the upper frame over the mufflers. This one has two hangers off it, and uses spacers between the frame and hanger. This one is the one that supports the mufflers via two of the Xbones hangers.

The other one should have a single hanger off it. This one bolts to the pass side front leaf spring pearch, and when installed, the hanger should sit over the tailpipes, and you should be able to connect the Xbones hanger to it and the tailpipe hanger.

And a bit of advice... leave everything loose until you get the tailpipe tips where you want them. You will need to swivel and pivot the x pipe section to get the proper exhaust tip angle.

Hope this helps.

I think that might be my problem Sal, the X-pipe is loose on the cat side but tight on the muffler side, maybe if I loosen those U-bolts I can get it where I need it to be, right now I can't get it to line up because I cant push the tips up far enough(hits the ground effect). Thanks for the info I really appreciate it. And if anyone else has any suggestions I'm open to them, I want to finish this install when I get home today!

Picture's worth 1000 words........if it's not to late.

If you look close at the pic. you can see both hangers for the system.
