Well I got My Lightning on a friday and my girl friend left on monday. Is that a good trade? I think so. That gives me more time on line to talk with all of the other guys & gals that have Lightnings. She did not like the time that I would spend with my boats and then you add the Lightning that was it. I told her that we guys had to have our toys but she did not like that. So I get to stay here by myself an just see how fast I can get the Lightning to go. I found out back when I raced all the time all over the south US that girls liked fast cars. Maybe if I'm nice they will like trucks now.

 

Sorry to hear that, but maybe you'll hookup with someone who also enjoys the extracurricular activites , I meant the L and boat of course. Besides, Im sure the L and the 3 different web boards will keep you plenty busy.

 

the lightning keeps me occupied. i dont know what ill do when i run out of things to do to it. but i have to have something to spend time with. in most all ways they are alot better than a woman. i mean she never talks back, never argues bout where i go, always likes to be shown off, and the harder i ride her the better she likes it hahaha. anyway sorry for your loss but i think u found a good replacement. if she complains bout you spending time like that you may not need her anyway. good luck on ya new one.

I had the same thing happen to me. I got the L and my girlfried said you love that truck more than me. So she left, oh well her loss. When she left it only did 13.2 in the 1/4 mile.

It is a lot faster now, and all the $$ I spent on her is in the truck.

Dude you'll have another woman in no time, some women just have different taste then other.

When I met my current girlfriend she was into speed and cars and anything just plain fast and crazy. the day I opened my garage and she saw my truck for the first time I was in shock when she said "oh my god is that a Lightning!!!" She knew allot about it and was just going crazy looking at it and wanting to go for a ride, but that was during the tranny horrors of early 02 for me so she had to wait 2 months before I took her out in it.

6 months later and she still loves it and can't get enough. And let me tell you what, she's totally fine too! so just cruise around and they will come to you!

Man you are way better off, will your truck ever complain to you about anything?? It's also going to be cheaper in the long haul, (i.e. no diamond for the finger)(use said money for mods!) Not to mention that the resale value of said truck is going to be worth way more than any female. But that's just me...........
