I was told that Leif Johnson was selling L's on the x plan. May want to check it out. A guy down here supposedly bought one there for the x plan. It would be good news if they did since I'd like to give them some repeat business.

 

Nope. They're all sold out. When I tried to buy one from them last year they wouldn't budge below MSRP + $3K. However, they've got an '03 Cobra in stock for $5K over sticker.

BTW, I saw your truck parked outside Auto Zone on Saratoga the week before last Saturday. I stuck around for a bit to ask about your gas door; but you didn't come out too soon. The door looks sweet. Is it a Bullit one that's powdercoated?

Yes, it is a Bullitt gas cap that's powder coated. Maybe I'll get to chat next time.

I'll be back in town the 2nd Saturday of next month to run with the Coastal Bend Porcshe Club of America. They set up a sweet 2-3mi. road course at Cabaniss. That's why I was down 2 weeks ago. I ran on a 1.3mi. SCCA auto-x.
