Does anybody else know who I am talking about? This company was huge in Denver and I moved here and it's huge here too. The guy did his own commercials and seemed pretty personable. He would do things like give away 12 free dinners at the Armadillo for buying a windshield...Anyway, the poor guy turned up murdered yesterday in a hotel room. He apparently was starting a new business as a jewelry broker and for whatever reason made an appointment to meet with a stripper from Christies Cabaret in North Phoenix and her boyfriend at a local hotel and they found him with a bullet in his head and his briefcase containing over a million dollars worth of jewelry missing and can't find this girl now. I was just curious how far out Empire Glass reached... It may be just a 4 corners thing...Anybody outside of CO and AZ ever hear of it?

I don't know the whole story but,on the new this A.M. they said he got in some trouble with a stripper a couple of years ago also.
Supposedly he picked this girl up at the club and she offed him a "massage".He took her to his home and she laced his drink with some type of "knock-out" drug and robbed him.
Police report stated $65k Mercedes,$70k in jewelry and $7k cash.
They did catch this girl somewhere in Pa. I believe.
Pretty wierd!

 

Yeah, I had heard that too. Happened back in 93. Wonder why a guy like that would think he had to pick up hookers...He wasn't a bad lookin guy and clearly he had cake...It's a shame really.

I've never been there. They show the commercials late at night here though. But those chicks are too fake looking...There was a place back home called All Stars and the girls that worked there were very pretty. We used to go watch the men dance at PTs and the girls that danced there were pretty too.
