Lingenfelter is one of the best known chevy tuner. His work is top notch and the cars he builds maintain daily drivability and even carry a 2 year 24000 mile warranty. He has several packages for vettes, from supercharged, to 427 Ci, to the 750 horsepower twin turbo vette. All engines are dynoed and personally approved by Lingenfelter himself before leaving his factory. Most engines are also balanced and blue printed. These are one of the fastest cars in the world. One of his customers has a daily driver vette that runs 9"s in the 1/4 mile at 150MPH!!!!

Yeah and he makes a chevy truck that outruns a Lightning, only trouble is, it's 60k on top of the price of the truck

ha!

here's a 9 second Lingenfelter 4 speed automatic TT vette at the track... laughing at a viper...

9 Second LPE Vette (9.76 @ 144mph)

BTW, it's an AVI file, so you might want to "Save As" first...

Thumbs down He's a big time chevy engine builder

I have been running NHRA & NMCA for about 13 years. Jhon is a big time chevy engine builder. He makes some killer power if you have plenty of $$$$$$$!!!!!! He builds a lot of comp engines or engines that run weigh to cubic inches. He puts 500+ cid low end race engines in his cars & trucks and calls them street cars. I give it to him the cars run some good numbers but if you look at what you pay to get one of them they are not that good. They are just about to the end of the mod list when you get it. I would like to see someone mod a 03 cobra like some of the lightnings are that you see and go at it with one of his vettes. It would not be so big if a 500+ cid engine got the best of a 4.6!!!

Bad if a light heavy weigh KOs a big time heavy weigh. HaHaHa

All jokes a side look out if you see one. Don't fall into a trap.

$40k+ for twin turbos with $10k brakes. I remember the spot on C & D TV show a while back. I believe they were testing top speed and had the gun pegged over 200 mph. Isn't it like 600+ HP. Like always $$$$$=HP other than the L of course.

Lingenfelter stuff is very expensive, there is no doubt. However you have to understand what you're paying for. You're not only buying great parts and labor, but you're also buying ENORMOUS peace of mind. As someone else stated, he offers a FULL 2 year/24 month warranty on his parts....and his warranty isn't your typical warranty.

One of the local guys that hangs out with us has a Lingenfelter Twin-Turbo Vette. He recently over-boosted it by accident (he spiked up over 12 lbs....8 is normal)...he instantly blew a head gasket among other things. So he called Jon and told him what happened. 2 days later an 18 wheeler w/ a Covered trailer arrived at his house to pick up the car. 2 weeks later the car was returned on that same trailer, as good as new with no questions asked (w/ a full detail service performed it). Now that IS SERVICE.

BTW...the car run 10.50's at 135 on Nitto's in full street trim....and even if he pops the hood, unless you know exactly what you're looking for....you'll NEVER even spot them. It's the most stealthy setup that I've ever seen. He street races alot.... needless to say I've seen him take a LOT of peoples $$$ and they never even knew what hit them.

Which Package?

I was wondering if anyone knew what the package that vette had on the video? It looks like a Z06 due to the rims but it has "Z51" on it. I looked on ligenfelter's website and their is no mention of Z51 so I was just wondering. All I know is that vette was fast as h@ll!!

Say what you want but Lingenfelter is a class act so you get what you pay for like Ebbsnflows said. His TT Corvette beat the best again this year at the Michigan Speedway tuner wars against some very radical competition, all putting out over 650 hp.
