What is your "best" warning ticket

My best two warning tickets:

89mph in a 60,
80mph in a 60

Very lucky those two days.

Got you beat.

68 in a 35 construction.

The aliby: It was the circle around the airport in Orlando. I was hurrying because the arrival time for the people I was picking up had been bumped up 20 minutes. The kicker? They were both DEAF and coming to get married and I didn't know what they looked like (friends of a friend). Pretty hard to page deaf people eh?

The cop was really pissed but didn't give me a ticket (couldn't figure out how to give me a "reasonable" ticket anything he could write me for was >$500.

97 in a 70 going to midland MI.

Cop let me go with a ticket for 5mph over 70 cause when he asked me how fast I was going I said under a 100, probably 95 to 97 or so. he was shocked at my honesty.

I actually got the ticket. I was heading to JDM for my mods and got a ticket on the highway in Ohio. Had the cruise set on 70 and the speed limit was 65. The trooper asked if i drove like that back home in Chicago. I said no officer. A second later my wife told the trooper i would have been doing 80. Cop didn't think that was funny. In ohio the speed limit is some serious schiznit.

I did get pulled over for having clear license plate frames on my truck the one night and the cop told me they made the plate glare so they couldn't see them so I asked him if I should take them off and he said no I wouldn't worry about it man. So then he comes back with a warning ticket for me and I'm like I thought you said not to worry about it. he then says so what does this thing run, and proceeds to race me down the busiest street in orland park. What a joke.

80 in a 50. This was in my old Ford Ranger, man I was pushing it to its limits. I was in a hurry to see my girlfriend cause I was late for our lunch date. The cop felt sorry for me and let it go .....

63 in a 25 & open container (passenger) & exhibition of acceleration.

First of all let me be the first to say that a dumbass manuever like that should have been ticketed.

I was test driving a Taurus SHO and a parked motorcycle cop saw the whole thing and radared me. He putting his radar away and getting ready to pursue so I just pulled over right next to him before he started his bike. I looked at him, smiled, and said "Guilty." He said, " I heard you before I saw you....thought you were a motorcycle." I told him the motor was made by Yamaha and he asked me to step out of the car since the smell of rubber was enough to gag us.

No written warning; he just told me to quit "...ucking around."

115 in a 65, in a 83 Chevy 3/4 ton bet ya didn't think one of those could go that fast. Told the cop I was late for work (really I was) and that I was gonna get fired if I didn't get there soon ( I doubt that would have happened.) Fortunately he took pitty on me and there's not a whole lot of traffic out on I84 in eastern Oregon. I think he said "I better not ever see you out here doing that again" "Yes sir" I said.

16 years old, being stupid in the 66 Mustang. Me and my best friend Kelly and our friends Carrie, Casey, and Koty. Yes....Christy, Kelly, Casey, Carrie and Koty....anyway...cruisin' down the road in a 40 MPH zone. Kelly says, "Hey, check it out, cowboys" I look up ahead and theres a truck with 2 cowboy hats so I gun it. The radio is blastin and I am weaving through traffic to catch up to this truck. So the are in a left turn lane and they go and we fly in behind them and we have just enough time to make it through the intersection before oncoming traffic...Next thing I know the truck is pulling over and giving us this strange look. It was an old farmer and his wife (figures) and I am trying to figure out what the hell is going on and Kelly says, "Chris, you are getting pulled over by a station wagon." WTF...it was an undercover that I must have blown by and cut off in my pursuit for this sweet little old man and his wife. The cop gets out of the car and I am wondering just how long has he been back there. He comes barreling up to the window and proceeds to just scream at me. Meanwhile my friends are laughing at me because, really, what do you say to a cop when you KNOW you have just done something stupid and you are getting your a$$ chewed for it in front of your girls? He's going on about how he worked highway patrol for 21 years and he scraped pretty little girls like me off the road everday of his life and if he were my Dad he would lock me in the house because I pose a threat to every innocent, law abiding citizen on the road with my antics. Then he says "WHAT THE HELL KIND OF DRIVING WAS THAT ANYWAY?" And my Kelly friend, being the smartass that she is leans over and says, "Professional" It was at that point I was positive I was going to jail. He turned every shade from red to purple. He went back to his car with my license and registration and as soon as he walked away everybody else started laughing. I was numb. Then...he comes back and says I was speeding, I was driving wrecklessly, I failed to yield to an emergency vehicle and he was trying to pull us over long enough to ticket me for evading, I illegally changed lanes without a blinker, and I have a taillight out. I am fixin to cry and then he hands me a warning ticket and tells me to get the hell out of there. It was for the taillight. I still drive fast but I think I owe a lot to that cop.
Of course, then there is the ever famous, aiding and abetting. Bunch of us out "hanging out" in the middle of nowhere. (Yeah, we were racing) Cops pull up long after we had finished and cite 36 drivers for aiding and abetting a speed contest that they never witnessed. Sherriff had to call stateys in, which pissed them off. They were not down for writing tickets to a bunch of stupid kids in the middle of a field at 2 am on a Saturday night. The Lightning was a month old. She was parked off the road at an angle behind a Mustang and a Camaro. Couldn't even tell she was a Lightning and I doubt at that time these cops even knew what a Gen 2 Lightning was. I am sitting in this stateys car ..."I don't even know anybody here, I know one guy. I thought we were goin to a party. I drive that big white truck over there, do you REALLY think I would be out here racing that thing?" (of course I had run a Sy twice and couldn't hook to save my life and lost both runs) Anyway, we meet back up, everybody is reading their tickets and Jared says to me, "Why the hell does yours say the 11th when it is the 12th?" Well...2 months later in court we are all facing the same charges and the Judge asks if there are any concerns and I give her the notarized statement from my Brother verifying that on the 11th I was nowhere near Weld County and all my charges were dismissed. That officer wrote 6 or 7 other tickets after mine, all with the correct date.

Not in the L, but

I was 15 3/4 (still had my permit). Me, my Dad, Mom, and Sister were all going out to eat in the expy and we came upon the toll gate. Well, like normall I ran it. What I didn't know was that a highway patroll was watching, so he pulled us over. He just said be shure and pay the next time and just gave me a verbal warning.

In the Lighning, I have been going 90 mph OVER the speed limit. The speed limit on this old highway is 35, and have hit the 125 mark a few times. Its got a couple of nice corners before a long straight, and then some more corners. We ride our bikes out thier every night, so we know the road well. When you stop at the stop sign, you ease throught the entersection and stomp on it. The tires spin a notch, then chirp into second and then at 80 you slow down a notch round the two corners at 65 then as you leave the last corner you open the throttle up and at the little hill you can hit 120-140 depending on how fast you exit the corner. You then slow down and go throught the last two corners at 60 then 50 and come to a stop sign. And that is the local test track. No tickets yet, but probley some day.

I got 4 warnings at the same time, along with 2 tickets. The tickets were 80/55 and Tint. The warnings were; Following Too Closely, Improper Lane Usage, Not Signaling, and No Front Plate.

Lucky to be driving and not in jail.

tickets

I was going 120+ in a 45. I saw the lights on about a half mile back and knew I was busted. I was completely stopped on the side of the road when the cop pulled up. He still gave me a ticket for going 74 in a 45. Anything 30 mph over the posted speed limit is considered wreckless driving in this state. I ended up fighting the ticket and winning.I ended up saving myself 271 bucks.
