I have contacted numerous dealers that say the L and standard 5.4l f150 manifolds are the same. They also stated that the HD were the same. Would one of you wonderful L guys mind wandering out to the truck and read the part numbers off of your exh manifold on the left and right side?

You can read them from through the wheel well if you push the rubber back ever so gently at the base of the well. (you will need a flashlight) You can read the passenger side one from under the hood. The driver is the harder one.

I have the following numbers which I am being informed are the same as the older (98) L:

Driver side:

Right RF-2L-1E-9431 CA

Left RF-XL-3E -9430 DD

The 99+ L and standard f-150 is supposed to be:
Left exh. manifold: RXL3Z-9430-GA
Right exh. manifold RXL3Z-9431-FA

which the dealer tells me will fit the truck...
